The "Ellie" Poems
Here
lies Eleanor Claire
Wallis
An
artist extraordinaire
Her
paintings hang still to this day
In
the gallery “Horse and Mare”
Big
Brown Eyes
And
Golden Brown Hair
Likes to winge
There
once was a girl called Ellie
Who
lived a smelly old welly
When
it rained and rained
The
welly gained and gained
“Water!”
said smelly old Ellie
Ellie
Simple,
Logical
Dully
watches TV
Sensitive,
Smart and Bored
My
sister
Learns
Loves
Interested
Ellie
Ellie
likes to dance and sing
But
her heart is with her family
She
dances to jazz and swing
Ever
after she’ll live happily
Ellie
looks like a princess stuck in a fairytale
Ellie
feels like a soft blanket
Ellie
smells like roses in a flowerbed
Ellie
sounds like the soothing voice of an angel
Ellie
is beautiful in every way
